01st Jan - Sunni Razvi Calendar is published.
19th Jan - Demand to form a Sunni Moon Sighting Committee.
06th Feb - On the demand of Raza Academy train services from Bombay to Ajmer is started.
07th Feb - Imam Ahmed Raza Award is given to Mufti Shariful Haque Amjadi, Allama Arshadul Qadri, Mufti Abdul Mannan Azmi, Mufti Gulam Mohammed Khan and Mufti Jalaluddin Amjadi with Rs 25000/- cash and a trophy of the Dome of A`ala Hazrat respectively.
07th Feb - Release of “Hadaik-e-Bakhshish” in magnificent printing at the hands of Hazrat Saiyad Mohammed Ashraf Marehrvi.
07th Feb - 100 Books written by A`ala Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza are released.
21st Feb - A delegation of Raza Academy meets the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and demands immediate restoration of peace in Ajmer Sharif.
21st Feb - A rally is organised to protest against the maligning of the dignity of Dargah Ajmer Sharif.
13th Mar - Noorie Mehfil Completes 850 weeks.
20th Mar - A delegation of Raza Academy proceeds from Bombay to help the victims of riots in Ajmer Sharif.
31st Mar - Demand made to the Prime Minister to insure the immediate tabling of the Shri Krishna Commission Report in the Maharashtra legislative Assembly . 1th Apr Demand to form an International Haj Committee for the safety of Haj pilgrims.
17th Apr - Release of “Hindi Kanzul Iman”.
19th Apr - 108th Birth Anniversary of Huzur Mufti-e-Aazam is celebrated.
20th Apr - “Quran Khawni” is organised in memory of Mufti Rajabali Nanparavi on his demise.
07th May - A delegation of Raza Academy meets the Prime Minister of India Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the release of Tada detenus.
10th May - Urs of Huzur Mufti-e-Aazam is celebrated in Noorie Mehfil.
16th May - Protest against firing in Masjid-Aqsa and the death of Palestinian Muslims.
11th June - A committee is formed to make arrangements for the 786th Urs Celebrations of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz.
21st June - Urs-A`ala Hazrat is celebrated at 2:38 p.m. in Khatri Masjid -Pydhonie. 29th June Protest letters to Mamta Banerjee ,Jayalalita and Chandrababu Naidu against the ongoing activities by the RSS to construct Ram Mandir at the site of Babri Masjid.
12th Aug - Raza Academy finds its place in the Editorial column of Times of India.
15th Aug - The “Inquilab” praises Raza Academy in its editorial column.
25th Aug - Dharna at Azad maidan against the attack by America on Afganistan and Sudan.
07th Sept - “Carvan-e-Garib Nawaz” starts from Bombay to Ajmer Sharif by car.
13th Oct - Meeting with the Collector of Ajmer Sharif to open the 137 Mosques in Ajmer Sharif.
25th Oct - “Garib Nawaz Express”a special train booked by Raza Academy leaves Bombay Central for Ajmer Sharif.
07th Nov - Jashne Garib Nawaz is celebrated in Patkar Hall.
15th Nov - Welcome Ceremony held in honour of Maulana Sharaf Qadri,Lahore.
16th Nov - Procession of Juloos Meraj-un-Nabi at 10 p.m..
01st Dec - A Daily Newspaper “INQUILAB” printed the letters received by Raza Academy to commemorate the 786th Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz. The letters were from Prince Charles, President Of South Africa,Nelson Mandela, Prime Minister of Australia,president Of Mauritius, Cassam Uteem,Queen of Denmark Prime Ministe of Canada,and King of Belgium ,King Albert II.
06th Dec - Tributes are paid to the Martyrs of Babri Masjid at 3:45 p.m. and a Memorandum is dispatched to the President of India.
10th Dec - Meeting with opposition leader Chagan Bujhbal to raise the matter of Raid on Darul Uloom Amjadia Nagpur in the Assembly session.
18th Dec - Memorandum to American Consul General against the attacks on Iraq.
23rd Dec - Mass prayer rally for the people of Iraq and demand to lift sanctions imposed on Iraq. In addition to these, in the field of litereture the Academy has published 110 books in 1998 of which 100 books have been written by Aala Hazra Imam Ahmed Raza Qadri. Some Important services.
