Important Services Rendered By Raza Academy In 2004.
10th Jan -. Raza Academy announces reward of Rs. One lac to the one who Blackens the Face of Salman Rushdie upon his arrival in Mumbai.
11th Jan.- Mumbai Police issues Notice of Section 149 on Mohammed Saeed Noori for this announcement.
21st Jan.- "Dharna" at Azad Maidan on arrival of Salman Rushdie in Mumbai.
13th Feb - 114th Birth Anniversary f Huzur Mufti e Aazam Celebrated In Mumbai.
14th Feb - Agitation outside the France Consulate on banning of Scarf's in Schools of France and memorandum submitted to the French Consul General.
26th Feb - Meeting of Ulemas organised to express concern over the atrocities on Iraqis and Palestinian Muslims and for reservation according to their percentage in India.
20th Mar - Upon completion of 1 year of war against Iraq the Academy announced a Protest Rally which was banned by Police and then converted into "Yaume Dua".
23rd Mar - A daily Newspaper of Mumbai "The Times of India" carried an advertisement of Film "Taj Mahal" which had Quranic verses on it. Upon the Academy's objection the Times of India and the Producer Akbar Khan issued a letter of Apology.
16th Apr - Urs e Razvi celebrated in Khatri Masjid with Qul Shareef at 2.38pm followed by langar Shareef.
18th Apr - Welcome Programme for Maulana Noman Aazmi & Maulana Tanveer upon completion of course from Jaame Azhar, Cairo.
22nd Apr - Welcome Programme for Hazrat Maulana Saiyad Mohammed Ibn Alawi Maliki from Mecca Shareef organised at Minara Masjid.
2nd June - 100 year Birth Anniversary celebrations of Mufassire Aazam Hazrat Maulana Ebrahim Raza Khan organised under the President ship of Hazrat Allama Akhtar Raza Khan.
22nd June - Bharda High School rusticates a student for keeping beard. Upon protest by the Academy the principal apologises and re instates the Student.
17th July - Kalma Shareef found on Football. Academy complains to the Police and gets all the stock confiscated.
27th July - Tahaffuze Shariat Conference Organised at Sunni Badi Masjid against the AIMPLB decision to maintain treat 3 Talaqs as One.
23rdAugust -A daily Newspaper of Mumbai "The Times of India" carried an advertisement of Film "Veer Zaara" which had Reverse Quranic verses on it. Upon the Academy's objection the Times of India and the Production House isuued a letter of Apology.
26th August - BJP - Shiv Sena take back their suggestion of Compulsory recitation of Vande Mataram in Municipal School after Raza Academy warns of Judicial Intervention.
27th August - Condemnation of Bomb Blast in Qadri Masjid (Jaalna, Maharashtra).
12th Sept - Procession of Mearaj Un Nabi taken out with prayers for Palestinians.
28th Oct -Raza Academy faxes memorandum to Thailand Embassy condemning death of 78 Muslims and asking for Compensation and Apology to the relatives of the Victims. The Thailand Embassy gave a positive 8 page reply to the Academy.
29th Oct -Condolence on the Death of Hazrat Saiyad Alawi Maliki of Mecca Sharif.
1st Nov -Raza Academy announces "Teachers Day" to be observed on the Anniversary of Hazrat Sadrus Shariah Maulana Amjad Ali Khan.
3rd Nov -Raza Academy faxes protest letter to Holland on the production of film having a naked woman with Quranic scriptures on her back.
12th Nov -"Yaume Quds" observed on Jumatul Vida Day.
12th Nov -Saudi Airlines denied Mohammed Saeed Noori permission to pray Namaz in Airlines upon which Complaint was faxed to the Saudi Airlines who took action on the erring Staff.
17th Nov -Vice President of Hotel Oberoi Towers tenders apology for insulting the secretary of Raza Academy and his friends on account of Beard.
23rd Nov -"Yaume Raza" held at Noori Mehfil.
24th Nov -1200 weeks of Noori Mehfil Completed.
6th Dec -Azaan programme held at several places on the occasion of 13th Anniversary of Babri Masjid.
31st Dec -First installment of rupees one lac sent to Nagore Shareef for the Tsunami Victims at Hazrat Qadar Shah Vali.
Apart from these the Academy published 32 books of Aalahazrat, Huzur Mufti Aazam and other Islamic Scholars in this year.
