06th Mar - Raza Academy takes out protest procession against Taslima Nasreen &around 150 people get arrested.
07th Mar - A delegation of Raza Academy meets Chief Minister & expresses anger & discontent on the arrival of Taslima Nasreen.C.M.assures that anything like this will not be repeated. Also matters concerning Qurbani are discussed.
24th Mar - Raza Academy faxes a letter to American Consulate for Mr. Bill Clinton to lift sanctions on Iraq & for freedom of Baitul Muqaddas.
28th Mar - 110th Birth Anniversary of Huzoor Mufti-e-Azam celebrated at Noori Mehfil.

11th May - Mufti Shariful Haque expires. Condolence messages by Raza Academy& Special Prayers (Isaale Sawab) performed.
16th May - Teacher of Maulana Shafi Ukadwi (Pakistan) Maulana Gulam Ali Ukadwi expires. Mehfile Isaale Sawab by Raza Academy.

10th July - Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee asked to issue orders for strict action against people trying to forcibly capture a mosque in Bara Banki (U.P).
20th July - Daily AFTERNOON publishes an article, which is insulting to the Holy Prophet of Islam. Raza Academydemands an apology and clarification from Afternoon,
24th July - Afternoon publishes an apology for its article dated 20th July.
31st July - Delegation of Raza Academy meets Minority President Mr. Arjun Singh and demands extra F.S.I. for Mosque and Haj House to be handed over to Muslims.
03rd Aug - ‘Dharna’ at Bhendi Bazar against killing in Kashmir.
06th Aug - Protest against State Govt’s decision to register only 2 names of children in Ration Card. The State Govt. subsequently revoked its orders.
07th Aug - President’s intervention sought for peace in Surat.
10th Aug - President’s Secretary sends his reply.
06th Sept - Special Train for Ajmer rescheduled from Mumbai Central instead of Borivli on the request of Raza Academy.
25th Sept - Daily Mid-Day sides with Qadyanis and Publishes article in its favour.

06th Dec - Call for ‘Azaan’ over the demolition of Babri Masjid at 3:45 p.m. and demand for reconstruction of Babri Masjid at its original place made to the President of India.
12th Dec - Raza Academy gives Mufti-e-Azam and Imam Ahmed Raza Scholarship to Hamdard University.
22nd Dec - ‘‘Quds Day’’ is announced. Duas performed in Masjids, reports published in Newspapers.
